Manufacturer Part Number: LMR-240-LLPX
Times Microwave's LMR-240LL-PL orange plenum-rated low loss coaxial cable is an indoor, fire retardant cable specifically designed for use in return air handling plenums. This braided coaxial cable offers similar performance compared to corrugated copper cables but provides high flexibility, simplified connection, and weatherproofing. It has a UL/NEC and CSA rating of "CMP" and "FT6" respectively. This 50 Ohm coaxial cable has a solid bare copper center conductor and aluminum taped outer conductor. Low loss is achieved through use of the 90 % braided shield. A foam polyethylene serves as insulation. With higher flexibility, the LMR-240 cable has a bending radius of 3/4 in. The LMR transmission line can be used in almost any application where handling characteristics, improved shielding, and low loss is required. The LMR-240 cable is similar in size to RG-8X cables. It is available in bulk and is priced per foot. This cable requires Times Microwave TC-240 series connectors. The new LLPX has an extended temperature range from -40 Deg. C - 125 Deg. C, higher power handling, advanced chemical and UV resistance, and compliance of a red jacket for public safety and in-building applications.
