The Sunlite 15 Watt T8 UVC Germicidal Straight Tube bulb is designed for use in disinfectant fixtures only. The UVC coating (253.7nm output) is highly effective in killing bacteria， mold， fungi， and viruses by destroying their molecular bonds that hold their DNA together. Effective on water， air， and surface contamination. They are eco-friendly and contain no chemicals. And unlike germicidal chemicals there are no corrosives or byproducts that can cause health hazards. Widely used for hospital disinfection， food service sanitation， clean rooms， and for instrument disinfection in commercial applications. Clear finish with 6，000 hour life span. Medium 2-Pin Base (G13). Overall length 18-inches， 1-inch in diameter.
